I wrote this song after I wrote a song called "CBT I'm Concerned" to a looped sample of a Marvin Gaye song. The original song "Hello Stranger" is by Barbara Lewis, which i just found out right now, thinking for a long time that it was by Barbara Mason. Now I am excited to find Barbara Lewis music. Thanks to Aunt Tweety for the advice here, she listened to the first recording of the track a LOT of times and gave me some crucial advice on the lyrics. The Michael Rault reference is to a song of his titled "Honey Bee", Michael has this sly smile that you'll see sometimes.
